Alot of cool info for Black Ops. Friday was Treyarch community day and alot of guys from the pc community had a chance to visit Trey. There is an embargo until the 28th on the info so they guys have a chance to get a good write up of the event. You can read from BnS on some of the event. This is a good snip from JockYitch:

Here is an example of what I mean. When Cesar came on to provide us with a status of the PC game, JD_2020 and he removed their shirts to reveal T-Shirts that said "Dedicated Servers". That's all I can say about that experience and I can only share that tidbit because PCDev already Tweeted the shirt (twitter.com/pcdev):
So dedies are a definite in the game. To what extent is still under wraps. There are a couple different rumors floating around. One was they were going to try and impliment servers simular to bc2 servers. Another rumor says that BO will contain servers like MW2 and dedicated servers. Steam might still be in the picture so they can charge for dlc. Alot of rumors out there. NO word on mod tools as of yet.
The GKNOVA6 site. If you guys have been following that is a brilliant piece of viral campain. Secret codes, hidden pictures in audio; wow I got sucked in. You can go here
http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=16to gather intel on the gknova codes. Carbon is the guy that runs the callofdutyzombies
site got the invite to Trey and got a little surprise when he got back to the hotel.
Here's another quote from Jock's site.
Quote:
I will be speaking at length about this event, but I would be remiss not to mention the hilarity that occurred when the community guys got back to the hotel. As we were walking through the lobby, a strange man approached young Carbonfibah, a console gamer who has been instrumental in decoding GKNOVA6.com transmissions. The strange individual blurted out something like "...this is your problem now, I have a plane to catch" and ran out the door. It took all of us a few minutes to realize that he had given Carbonfibah a brushed aluminum case with a GK logo emblazoned on the front of it. Carbon stood there looking dumbounded for minutes with the case in hand.
Carbonfibah was obviously in shock and appeared to be shaking as he finally heeded calls to unlatch the clasps on the case.
Clearly, this was yet another clue related to the gknova6.com site.
The aluminum case consisted of a few documents and interestingly enough, a Cell-Phone. Rather than heading out back into the Santa Monica night to look for chicks, these dedicated gamers are now busy trying to decipher this next clue.
It looks likew BO is going to be one hell of a cool game. I cant wait for the release.
